Complex systems are only as useful as they are usable. I specialize in developing solutions to intractable problems in order to empower people and provide them with insights. Although there is certainly value in domain expertise, I firmly believe to overcome UX challenges it is far more important to know how to properly execute a variety of user-centric design processes. Over the course of my career I have honed my skill set developing interfaces for VR/AR applications, surgical robots, 3D home customizers, automated hydroponics, admin consoles and CAD tools.
I have worked at public companies (Google, Autodesk, Intuitive) as well as startups like Blu Homes, where I saw the company grow from 5 to 300 people and published a patent. My educational background is in human-computer interaction (M.S. from UC Berkeley) and architecture (B.S. from University of Michigan).
